Data Collection of Bok Choy

Typically, we have to consider on some major point to collect the data on Bok Choy such as;
  • Plant height
  •  Number of leaf /Plant
  •   Leaf area (Cm2)
  •   Marketable yield ( Ton/ha)
  •  Unmarketable yield ( Ton/ha)
  •  Total yield ( Ton/ha)

       I.            Plant Height

To understand the plant height, because we want to know the impact of different fertilizer level (N level) of whole plant length on Bok Choy. In this collection we will select 5 plants where as X shape in a container one plant in the middle and more 4 plants on the corner of container.
The data of Bok Choy height was calculated in Centimeter (Cm).

    II.            Number of leaf /Plant

The data collection on the leaves will select 5 plants in a container where X shape starting from large leaf to small leaf.

 III.            Leaf area

The data of leaf area will collect while doing harvest time. We have to select 5 samples in a container and 5 leaves. Then we will calculate it by centimeter paper.

  IV.            Marketable yield

Marketable yield in this case is referred to the yield can distribute on market or can be cook for your food. Collecting Bok Choy yield will divided to two types; good yield and damage yield.

     V.            Unmarketable yield

Unmarketable yield is referred to yield that cannot distribute on market. Collecting this yield will do on harvest time.

  VI.            Total yield

Total yield is combination of good yield and damage yield.
